Music

We know families often like to personalise the funeral service by choosing a special piece of music. If you wish an organist to play a specific piece of music, simply notify us as soon as possible so that we can inform the crematorium. In some cases, if the music is a piece that is not well known, you may need to provide sheet music.

The crematorium at Blyth (Cowpen) and North Tyneside now operate digital music systems, meaning that CDs are no longer required. Please inform your funeral director of your chosen music who will make the necessary arrangements.

Newcastle crematorium require music to be handed in on CD, if you have difficulty acquiring your chosen tracks your funeral director may be able to help

In the absence of specific requests appropriate music will be played at the organist’s discretion.
